Located on the outskirts of the city center to the west, Padang Beach presents a dramatic sunset views, there are also a variety of tempting snacks. So the place is pretty fun to hang out for the young city of Padang. For beginner surfers there are some fairly challenging spot on this beach, especially in the Purus Beach and Freshwater Beach.
